Some of the club might know I play Blues/Rock harmonica (when I get a chance). I have been playing a bit more recently and have been invited to play at a charity gig in Swanage Fri 6th Nov, raising money for Julia's House
The gig is being organised by a local muscian who has asked players from London and Purbeck to join in . Its all pretty laid back with the point being to rase money .We will be covering artists like Jimi Hendrix and other 60's 70's Blues- Rock bands with some other standards too maybe something new as well?
The gig is at either the Purbeck Hotel or the White Horse In Swanage I should be able to confirm place/time later today !
If anyone can make it would be great to "see ya all" there

Sounds like a good idea! The White Horse would bring back memories of some errr 'Heavy nights' (Music wise) there. Let us know Jon and we'll see what we can do

The fri night gig is at the Purbeck pub not the purbeck house Hotel ! it is near the Swanage pier there should be plenty of parking in the streets around the venue, I am not sure if there is free parking after 7 in the council car parks

Well what can I say ... totally blown away....

What a brilliant night... I only went down for an hour to the pub for a quick pint and a listen...but ended up staying till midnight....

me and Dave Dyer took some photos with are phones... so if they are any good we will post them.... ..

I didn't realize we had a budding blues musician in the PDMC...
