I tried to go online the other night to ask a question and all has changed. I can't login with my usual squirreleater login?
I did have an email about the forum but deleted it
Any ideas? I have contacted djbry via email but other than that i'm cream crackered, I would like to keep my account running with them but it's a chicken and egg situtaion, can't log in to ask why i can't log in......
Maybe if D+M or Helen can get online could you contact someone for me?
Ta muchly.

They had a big shake up over the website, it all got SO political and stupid that we've let our membership lapse and won't be going back!!

It was all about forum topic access for 'Non' members, seems to have upset a few regulars as some of them where leaving when we did.

Charming, couldn't see a problem with anyone using the forum, member or not.
They'll soon regret it once it becomes a barren wasteland with nothing happening.

Did some mention my name ?

You deleted the email Mr Squirrel ?? - stupid boy Pike. lol! Now why did you do that ?

What you SHOULD have done, was log in with the new password you had been sent, then you could change it back to your original password.

All the arguing aside, (by those who seem to spend their days arguing) all SOC have done is make certain sections of the site passworded for members (just like PDMC and most other forums I know of). As usual, those who wanted something for nothing - i.e. - not wanting to pay membership, have complained.

I will get Adam (SOC Webmaster)or DJBry to contact you Sq.

Hi Helen,
I've had a long mail from Roy (Fastfitter) that suggests it is a little more than that................Doesn't sound terribly good to be honest.

But, I will have a look if I can, many thanks for contacting them...
bearing in mind Bry hasn't replied to my email........
But as for paying to use a forum( I have no interest in the club nowadays, too little time to go to meets-have to be selective) that cost next to nothing to run ,but is(was) a superb tool for bringing in new members- I don't think so!
(I joined because of the forum and the help that came from it, Didn't you find the forum first?)
Will we see you at the new venue?.......
Stu

I've found a fair few of the old crowd are here.....
http://www.rfownersclub.co.uk/index.php
If your interested? I've posted an introduction and it's a bit like old times........
Drac is going to link to our site, so I will have to look at putting a links section on here, so have a think if there are any links you would want to have on here?
Stu.
