Astute Manual finished at last

Well folks, after several months of hard work and a few days of near panic, it's finally finished. I just have to deliver this monumental tome to the company and in about a week it will be published.

I anticipate this book will rival the popularity of anything produced by J.K. Rowlings (Harry Potter, for the uninitiated) although you will need at least A2 clearance to get a copy.

With any luck I can now get back into a reasonable routine and will be abe to devote a bit more time to other interests (riding the bike)

Can you just double check the section about where to park it, and how much depth under the keel to allow for......Would hate to see Tax payers money being wasted on another re-floating exercise!!

Apparently HMS Astute ran aground off Skye due to a steering fault, it seems the boat is hard to control when the rudder falls off!

Had this design been fitted with twin screws, they may have been able to manouvre using engines.

A single multi-blade fan type screw may be more acoustically efficient (stealth) but does nothing for emergency control.......... but you did'nt hear that from me!
